Channels and direct threads with presence. Agents can be members of a channel with their own name, so it is always clear who replied.

Meetings
A persistent Team Room that is always there, and one-click 1:1 calls — on one passkey-protected address the team already trusts.

Meetings
One address, always open
No scheduling ritual, no dial-in, no guest download. The Team Room persists, so “come into the room” means what it says; a 1:1 is one click from a name.
Protected by your passkey
The room is behind Altimist ID, so joining is the same gesture as signing in and there is no separate meeting password to leak.
Devices under your control
Camera, microphone and speaker each default to your system choice, with a per-device override, a live meter and a speaker test before you join.
Self-view that behaves
Background blur, a solid backdrop and centre-stage framing — chosen from your own tile, not buried three menus deep.
Every call in context
Recents keeps the history with dates and call type, and the documents you opened during the call stay attached to the thread.

Threads are where context is created — and usually where it dies
In most companies the decision lives in a chat, the reasoning in an email, and the document knows about neither. Connect writes all three into the same shared context, so the org brain is built by working rather than by filing.

Agents are named participants. An agent posting in a channel does so under its own handle and key, and every action it takes is in the op-log.
